New Paper Products made from Wood

Nearly 60% of all paper in the United States is recycled and more than 63% of the wood fiber used to make new paper products comes from recycled sources. Most paper is made entirely from wood with no other medium mixed in. This includes newspaper, magazines and even toilet paper.
The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certifies paper made from trees harvested according to guidelines meant to ensure good forestry practices. These industries are responsibly managing forest, and fighting climate change at the least expensive way. Most pulp mills use good forest management practices in harvesting trees to ensure that they have a sustainable source of raw materials. Reforestation is practiced in most areas, making trees are a renewable resource. Another green aspect in the paper industry is that they also generate their own energy from neutral carbon renewable resources.
