Wooden containers for industrial shipping applications have been the foundation of Valley Box since 1965. Custom-designed crates, boxes and skids for any purpose or need is our specialty. We use CAD programs when a customer's engineering department must approve critical tolerances in the box design. Additionally, internal components such as customized saddles and bracing can easily be designed and installed to accommodate your specific requirements. Wood containers are the most cost effective, environmentally safe and recyclable exterior package.
Open Slat Crate
Open slat crates are ideal when shipping items bare or when full boxing is cost prohibitive. The crate-designed shipper can provide exterior protection along with vertical protection when stacking is a concern. The crate is also lighter than an enclosed box potentially lowering your overall packaging and shipping cost.
