Super Duty

For payloads exceeding 10,000 lbs., and special lifting requirements, the steel fabricated base with wood top box may be the right packaging choice. When wide or high loads become an issue during transport, the steel base provides tremendous strength in the smallest of space, thus reducing the overall outside dimensions of the package. In some cases a shipment could exceed bridge and tunnel clearances. With a reduced overall outside dimension, size restrictions may be met, and additional disassembly of your product may not be necessary. By using steel welded tie down points, large oversized ground transportation is safer. This package is available with double layered plywood and roofing felt top, and a moisture barrier bag for long term storage.

Heat treated wood meeting USDA standards is a requirement of all international shipments.

Inspection doors are needed for overseas shipments to allow customs or homeland security to verify the contents of the package. The doors can also allow for extra internal tie downs, and can and can be opened to check rough handling and humidity sensors.

Anchor Points are customized for tie down or lifting purposes depending on the needs of your freight forwarder’s shipping requirements.
