Valley Box Company Hosts a Packaging Improvement Webinar for Manufacturing Companies

Valley Box Company, a Southern California manufacturer of packaging, will host a free Packaging Design Webinar each month starting April 20th 2011 that focuses on the best practices for developing a successful packaging lifecycle.

This webinar is titled, “Improving Packaging Performance” and will be presented by Kymberly Bennett, Valley Box Company’s Marketing and Sales representative, with the participation of Alicia Eschwege, Valley Box Company’s Marketing and Strategy Director. Attendees will discover valuable insight to help improve upon current packaging design methods and processes.

The free online session will be held Wednesday April 20, from 10 to 11 a.m., PST.

“In this webinar we’ll cover how to reduce packaging costs, decrease damage claims, reduce packaging storage space, increase efficiency of in-house packaging, increase ease of use when packing & unpacking, and reduce packaging waste” Eschwege said. “We hope to inspire attendees to rethink their current packaging design and make decisions that will save their company packaging costs.”

The webinar is intended for executive decision makers, purchasers, buyers, product engineers, and others who are tasked with the packaging and handling of their company’s products. In this webinar, Bennett and Eschwege will engage in a dialogue discussing seven key elements to the packaging lifecycle:

  1. Packaging Design
  2. Product Assembly
  3. Packaging Process
  4. Transport and Handling
  5. Storage
