Another specialty service that Valley Box offers is On-Site Packaging Solutions.
The company will design custom wooden boxes to meet each customers individual needs.
Pre-made crate components & hardware are brought to the customers work site, accompanied by Valley Box Crating Experts. The entire package is assembled, the product is packed and the crate is sealed quickly with no inconvenience to the customer.
A FaceLift for Used Wooden Boxes
Container Refurbishing is also a popular service.
Old containers are given a full blown makeover, fully inspected by a Valley Box Packaging Expert, the broken panels and wall components are repaired, hardware is upgraded, and the entire container is repainted to make it look and function like new. Alicia Guillette, Vice President of Valley Box, said,
"An analysis is done and if repairing it less than 50% of the cost of a new container, Valley Box will refurbish the units. This is an environmentally friendly and cost effective solution for many customers."
Corrosion Prevention
Barrier Bags are another not often thought of solution. These are specialty made bags that are meant to preserve the contents of a package against damage from elements such as; dirt, dust, salt spray, grease, moisture, and other airborne contaminants.

Another option to guard against moisture issues is to use Humidity Indicator Cards. A Humidity Indicator Card or (HIC) is a card on which a moisture-sensitive chemical is impregnated such that it will change color when the indicated relative humidity is exceeded.
These cards can be placed inside your packaging and placed directly onto designated products. When these cards are used Quality Control Departments can easily check periodically to check the integrity of the product as well as the moisture prevention occurring within the package.
